What is the process?
- Discuss your project needs with a Quail Buildings representative to design a building or other structure suitable to your application.
- Upon ordering, the agreed upon design is sent to engineering for wet-stamped drawings, calculations and foundation plans.
- Apply for a permit to build your building.
>>Permit regulations vary by County and State, start investigating the requirements in your area. - Make arrangements to have the building erected (although many of our clients choose to "self-install")
- Upon final customer approval of engineered drawings, your building will be manufactured and scheduled for delivery.
- Building is delivered to your site.
How long does the process take?
- Engineering Package—7 to 10 working days.
- Permit approval—2 to 3 weeks.

What other things need I consider before making a decision?

What size door can I get?
- For overhead doors you need 18” additional height for door track and 3” on each side for the side door track.
- Consider a canister door to save space.
